We’re getting closer!

First, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to complete our coffee survey. Your responses have been incredibly helpful and have given us a much better understanding of what matters to you when it comes to your coffee routine—and what doesn’t.

We’re actually going through every submission one by one, taking notes and looking for the common themes, ideas, and preferences that will help guide our decisions. Your feedback is helping us determine what we should focus on as we prepare to launch our very first Newfiesta coffees.

And we don’t want to keep all of that to ourselves. We’ll be sharing some of the things we’re learning from the survey soon, including some of the interesting trends and preferences you’ve shared with us.

🇬🇹 Next Stop: Guatemala!

We’ve officially finalized plans to head to Guatemala in late October, and we couldn’t be more excited.

While we’re there, we’ll be meeting with coffee farmers, roasters, and others throughout the Guatemalan coffee community as we work toward finalizing our first batches.

We’re not simply looking for good coffee. We want to find the right coffee, the right people, the right quality, and the right partnerships.

One of our biggest goals with Newfiesta Coffee Co. is to create a direct connection between you and the place your coffee comes from. We want you to know more than just the roast level and tasting notes on a bag—you’ll get to know the farm, the people, the traditions, and the culture behind the coffee.

We want Newfiesta to bring a little piece of Guatemala into your morning cup. 🇬🇹☕

And our trip in October is a big step toward making that happen.

But Newfiesta Coffee is going to be about more than simply buying a bag of coffee.

We’re building a place where you can explore the world of coffee and Guatemala—learn where your coffee comes from, discover how coffee is grown and roasted, learn about Guatemalan culture and traditions, and follow the people and stories behind the beans.

Eventually, we want you to be able to pick up a bag of Newfiesta Coffee and think:

“I know where this came from. I know the story behind it. And I know the people who helped bring it to me.”

That’s the experience we’re working toward. So join our excitement for our website to continue to build and provide updates, and coffee buying soon!

Over the next few months, we’ll be sharing more of the journey—including our trip to Guatemala, the farms and roasters we visit, the coffees we discover, and the process of choosing what will become our very first Newfiesta coffees.

And because you’re part of our journey from the beginning, our newsletter subscribers will be among the first to know when our coffee is ready—and will get first access to our first Newfiesta batches.

We’re still building, learning, tasting, and making a LOT of decisions behind the scenes.

But we’re getting closer.
